At our space, we believe yoga is more than just movement—it’s a space for healing, connection, and coming home to yourself. It’s also a practice rooted in social justice—honoring the lived experiences of all bodies, and working toward collective liberation, not just individual wellness.
Trauma-informed yoga is a practice that is rooted in choice, safety, and empowerment. That means we’re not just teaching postures—we’re holding space. In our classes, you won’t be pushed, corrected, or asked to fit into any mold. Instead, you’ll be offered options, agency, and a compassionate environment where you lead your own journey.
Why it’s beneficial:
Trauma affects the body, not just the mind. A trauma-informed approach recognizes this, supporting nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and reconnection with your body in a way that feels safe and supportive. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, grief, or just looking for an intentional way to move—this practice meets you where you are.
Why we do it differently:
Elsewhere, yoga can become about shapes and striving. Here, it’s about feeling and being. We prioritize people. Our facilitators are trained in trauma-awareness, and we intentionally create a culture of inclusivity, consent, and curiosity. That’s what sets us apart.
Why join us?
Because healing doesn’t have to happen alone. Because your body deserves kindness.Because yoga should feel like a yes—not an obligation.
To that end, you’re always welcome to ask us more about our trauma-informed lens. Trauma-informed spaces don’t stop at intention—they are conversational, educated, committed to evolution, collaborative, and never complicit.
We invite you to ask questions—not just of us, but of any wellness space you’re part of. What actions are they taking to become more trauma-informed?
Because being trauma-informed isn’t a trend—it’s a responsibility.
Come as you are. We’ll meet you there!
