About Katie and her approach
Katie Hespelein is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Sex Therapist. She works with adults, both individually and couples. Katie is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a New Hampshire Board Approved Supervisor for clinicians working toward licensure.
Stepping into your true, authentic self can feel scary and overwhelming. Loving connections, grounded sense of self, and empowerment are the foundations of therapeutic work. I strive to create an environment which provides the opportunity to develop a greater understanding of yourself, experience growth, and bring about lasting change.
Clinical areas of focus:
Sex therapy; including exploring gender expression and identity, ethical non-monogamy, kink, accessing pleasure, desire discrepancy and removing shame/guilt around sex. Trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, life changes, and working with veterans.
