Embodied Directions Wellness Sanctuary is committed to providing community based, trauma-informed, and holistic therapeutic supports. The pathway to healing is multi-faceted and often benefits from a variety of supports. Take advantage of the many directions of healing with us through:

Yoga / Movement

We’d like to offer the acknowledgement that the “yoga” we know in the Western world is the result of extensive colonization and westernization. As such, the yoga we offer is a very small subset of the whole yoga lineage. 

The movement practices offered at Embodied Directions Wellness Sanctuary are best described as Therapeutic Yoga. Group and individual classes are available in person and virtually.

Energy Therapy

Energy therapy is based on the understanding that the human energy field is a dynamic system of powerful influences, in a unique relationship to physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Energy Healing is a therapy that helps you connect to your inner source of vibrancy and life force, making it available to shift physical, emotional, and mental disharmony towards healing and well-being. We offer a variety of energy healing modalities, better enabling us to meet everyone’s energetic needs uniquely.

We provide one time and recurring therapeutic groups on a variety of mental and emotional health related topics.

Clinical and peer mentorship, consultation and supervision available for a variety of topics: including and not limited to; recovery, trauma-informed care, trauma-informed movement practices, mindfulness and meditation.

Our COVID Safety Practices

  • Face masks: we no longer require masks to be worn at the Sanctuary but you are welcome to if you prefer. We have extra available should you need one.
  • Sanitizing: we have hand sanitizer in our entry way, bathroom and our mat spray can clean surfaces and skin. If you use studio props, we ask that you sanitize them at the end of class.
  • Distancing: on your designated mat spot, safe distancing is achievable. Find the floor logos and position in the middle of your yoga mat.
  • Best practices: we ask that if you are ill or have been exposed to someone with Covid, please take advantage of our virtual offerings rather than coming in person.
  • Our commitment: we take the health and safety of our community very seriously. We clean and sanitize the space between classes and adhere to the above practices along-side you. We’re in this together!
