Somatic Psychotherapy & EMDR: Rediscover the Wisdom Within

Healing is not about fixing what’s broken — it’s about reconnecting with the wisdom and wholeness already within you.

Healing isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. It’s unique to you. My approach is to meet you with curiosity and care, to help you notice the patterns and stories your body is holding, and to support your return to a steadier, more connected place within yourself.

Through trauma-informed somatic psychotherapy, we honor the profound connection between mind and body. Recognizing that trauma often resides within the body, our sessions focus on cultivating body awareness, regulating the nervous system, and releasing stored tension.

In addition to somatic therapy, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. EMDR utilizes bilateral stimulation to help process and integrate traumatic experiences, reducing their lingering impact.

Each session is a shared space for exploration, tailored to meet you exactly where you are. We may integrate inner child work, gentle movement, breath, and mindfulness practices — offering steady support as you rediscover your essence and your natural capacity for healing.

This is a sacred space where your body’s wisdom is acknowledged and honored. Here, you are invited to reconnect with yourself, fostering a sense of safety, empowerment, and wholeness.

Now Offering EMDR Intensives

Every part of you and your story deserves to be seen and healed.

At this time, I am offering EMDR intensive sessions rather than ongoing weekly therapy. Intensives provide an opportunity to focus on your healing in a supported and concentrated way, with extended sessions that allow for deeper processing while honoring your pace and readiness.

We’ll work collaboratively to create a plan that feels right for you, whether that includes one or several sessions. If you’re curious about EMDR or wondering if an intensive might be a good fit, I’m happy to connect and answer any questions.

We all need someone to sit with us while we spill the tea — and help make sense of the story.
