Adverse or traumatic events or experiences can bring up different emotions and challenges that can impact your life in a variety of ways. This integrative group therapy experience will help you feel calmer, more resilient, and help you regain your balance after trauma to heal in a collective, community environment.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy approach that alleviates emotional distress associated with upsetting experiences. Our group experience will include individual processing of your experience (no trauma sharing required) and integrating your healing creatively through movement, art, music to support each other, find grounding and deep connection.
Who is this experience for?
- Your traumatic experience happened at least 6 months ago
- You are seeking holistic healing vs talk therapy
- You can work independently but desire to supported by others
- Those seeking shorter-term, accelerated healing
- Open to a wide variety of experiences
In this group, members will:
- Learn EMDR stabilization techniques
- Participate in EMDR group therapy to metabolize aspects from their traumatic experience that remain distressing
- Support other survivors and find strength in community
- Practice mindfulness and relaxation strategies to manage stress and triggers
- Engage in group safety and cohesion building
- Integrate processing through expressive arts therapeutic exercises

9 am – 4 pm (includes a 45 minute lunch, included in price)
